Adrian's Amazing Carpet Cleaning started in 1989, previously proprietor Adrian Geyer had a contract office cleaning business, from 1979-1998 in Torquay.
We were the first company in Devon to use "truck mounted" cleaning equipment.
This uses hot water, stored in heated tanks in the van, the heavy machinery remaining outside in the vehicle.
Unlike other truck mounts however,our Bane Clene System also uses the waste heat produced from the engine whilst driving, to maintain or heat the temperature of the water.
We do not run the engine whilst cleaning though, as the system is electric powered.
Our original van was a 1930's replica, which although was fun and much loved by our customers, was quite thirsty, 10mpg ! and frequently "complained" about lugging a tonne of water and equipment up our beloved Devon hills, so after five years was sadly replaced, for a " younger, fitter, & slimmer model ! "
